Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Friday and Saturday nights.

WOH, Jon ... I can certainly remember that quite well. Of course, we had a huge bowl of popcorn (In those festive 4-set Pyrex bowls; yellow, green, red and blue; yellow being the biggest), with a full stick of margarine melted on it, and let's not forget the salt. The popcorn was cooked on the stove with oil -- no microwave or air poppers. We washed it down with Hawaiian Punch ... mummy thought Koolaid was junk -- Hawaiian punch was better??? AND, no Jiffy Pop ... that was considered junk too ... like, duuuuuuh: the things we were led to believe ...

Oh! I forgot, watch some of the Perry Masons. On the street scenes there always seems to be this one lonely 49 plymouth sedan parked anywhere on the street, and its in several seasons and it was old then.Bobby

The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis

With all this discussion of Patty Duke, how could we forget these lyrics?

Dobie, wants a girl who's dreamy,
Dobie, wants a girl who's creamy,

maybe the 50's weren't as innocent as we remember.
I love the classic show's cars too, I have the first 3 seasons of Perry Mason, he drives a '57 Ford retractable hardtop, one episode a Buick convertible, then on to Caddys. And the handsome Paul Drake has either a T-bird or Corvette.
Like the Mopars in the Beverly Hillbillies too, Miss Jane must have made good money to afford the latest Dodge convertibles, and the Imperials are my favorites, especially when they have the rare Limousines, and Dash Riprock driving the convertibles.
