Christine the Plymouth Fury -- meet Kristine, the Kirby.

The grungy little Kirby Sanitronic met his foster brother the Omega today, and had his first bath. Would you believe that damned Omega ran up and kicked me? At first, I was angry, and threatened military school. Then I realized what happened. I'd hooked up the buffer to the Omega then pushed the unit under my coffee table -- it's in portable mode, the small handle is attached, and the bag folded over and onto a hook at the back of the handle.

I sat down, spread my work tarp over my lap, and turned on the Omega. Twenty pounds of vacuum cleaner lunged at me!!! Right into my shin!!!!! OWWWW!!!! DAMN!!!!! WHY YOU GERIATRIC OVERPRICED VINTAGE PIECE OF SHHHHhhhhh..oh..., I see what happened...

*blush* When I turned it on, the bag inflated, pressing against the base of the coffee table -- firing the unit out from under the table! *shaking head*

Ought to be an honorable mention for a Darwin Award, dontcha think?

Limping along,

John

Kirby "Drag Races"?Shows the force of the air going into Kirby's bag-When you start the kirby-any model-that bag inflates NOW!.
On G3's-in canister mode-if you have the Tech Drive out of gear-then tug too hard on the hose--that G3 will chase you down the hall and whack you if you don't get out of the way!Another Kirby drag race. Its the design of the pedal for engaging-disengaging the Tech drive-if it is bumpted or whatever-it goes into gear.G4 models on had a two peice Tech drive pedal preventing the "Tech Drive" drag race.If you have a G3 you can try it-but be sure you,no pets or kids are in its way-use a long hall way.Was very surprizing to me when it did that.

SUCH LANGUAGE!!!

John, for shame...not quite Kirby's fault now...
reminds me of the time I re-assembled a Eureka motor with the field coil upside down...I got my A** zapped into next week when I plugged that one in...

I am always amazed at what we learn the hard way!

I have a sad story to tell you
It may hurt your feelings a bit
Last night I walked into my bathroom
I stepped in a big pile of
SSHHHHHHaving cream
Be nice and clean
shave everyday and you'll always look keen.

Yes, I have the 45 by Benny Bell. The flip side is another old ditty with suggested curse words. Kinda like the song "Some Beach".

WOW.. that one takes me back

I remember that song, I was in 5th grade, and it was on back order at the local record store... OY the memories!
