Easy?

Is this an Easy of some sort. Easy's had stickers on them that had "1877" on them. I'll bet it has the 1877 sticker on it and that's what they're thinking. It also has an Easy look to it. I'd guess 40's to 50's? Either a portable washer of some sort or a spin drier.

Probably 1950'ish

i've seen dozens of these around.they work great but are nothing near the value this seller is asking. Greed is so popular now days.

"Precision engineering since 1877" The Easy motto

Pretty funny that the guy thought the machine was made then, in 1877 and for 1500 dollars. What in the bjesus is he smokin'?

Were washers even electric in 1877? Or still hand-cranked. Agree with Tim--made in the early 40's.

It is a versatile, complete little bugger though. The whole basket goes back and forth to wash, next you lower the gravity drain hose to empty the tub, then flip the single switch down to spin. A lot of bang for the buck...ummm...like $20 maybe or $50 if you can spare it, but 1500. What a train wreck !

I really sizzle with delight at this kind of no-one-will-ever-buy-it greed.

Thanks Yogi, for a really good evening chuckle.

(You may have to lift the tub up a bit to engage the spin. I forget.)

Pictures of the machine are lousy-you really can't see its condition-come to think of it the swap shop in Grimesland out here has one of those-will ask what they want for it-doubt it would be $1500.also remember they DID NOT have electric motors and electricity in 1877!

Is this similar to the little machine in the D.C. Video, if not the very same one? alr2903
