Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Perhaps Jeff (JEB) can provide more info about "Appliance Television Company" in Mansfield.  Was it a division of Westinghouse set up specifically to do business with MW? Or a separate company that used Westinghouse facilities to manufacturer their products? It's origin is very obvious; though the document states it's a 1961 model, the cabinet is basically that of the 1955 Wash 'n Dry Laundromat.

There’s no doubt in my mind that Westinghouse had something to do with the “Appliance and Television Co.” of Mansfield, Ohio. Maybe it was the poor bastard step child of Westinghouse where store brands were manufactured.

I agree with Tom in reply #25, the cabinet looks like a ‘55 Westy slant front. I doubt that this would have been allowed if Westinghouse didn’t have some hand in the manufacture of this combo machine.

My grandma had a ‘61 Montgomery Wards FL and it looked just like a ‘61Westinghouse FL except for being badged as a “Signature” which of course was the Montgomery Wards name for their appliances built by other parent manufactures..
