Anyone want a vintage Waste King SS5000 garbage disposer?
I've replaced mine with a modern Titan 3/4 HP unit.
To be honest the Waste King has seen better days. It does run, and all the parts are there, it's just a bit tired, and tends to jam quite easily on the slightest hint of tough materials. I don't know if it's the motor, or the bearings, or the grinding ring/impeller. I realize that I'll probably never get around to diagnosing/repairing this unit, so I'm offering it up here.
I know some of you like these old ones and if anybody's interested please shoot me an email (note the email instructions in the profile at the bottom) and it's yours for the cost of shipping.
