Hello there! I've recently become the proud owner of a vintage portable dishwasher. It was gifted to me by a family member who heard I was in the market for a portable dishwasher and had an unused one sitting in storage that I could have. It's only been used a handful of times and looks to be in great condition but I have run into a bit of a road block. They didn't have the original adapter to clip it's water intake/outtake hoses onto the kitchen faucet. I've done some digging online to see if I can find an owner's manual or a parts list but I haven't had much luck. I was wondering if you fine bunch might be able to help me figure out what kind of adapting hardware I'm looking for.

(Apologies for the image quality, the site seems to be compressing my photos.)

Here are some diagrams from my dishwashers manual, mine is a final generation Powerclean by Whirlpool so same exact concept just newer, not sure if this helps but once you have the correct pieces that’s how they go. You’ll need the faucet adapter as they mentioned, unscrew the old one off the faucet and screw the new one on and push DOWN on the ring of the dishwashers supply connector and snug it over the faucet, and let go that way it locks in place. Turn the hot water ON. It might feel like it’s gonna explode but it won’t lmao, as long as it doesn’t drip or leak and everything’s tight it’s good to go. Luckily mine came with the adapter, and have never had any issues. So good luck!!

Had this same dishwasher only branded Inglis. Bought it second hand. Used it for a year and sold it to a cousin. Could still be out there somewhere. Did a great job.

There are basically two sizes of the adapters sold in the faucet repair accessories in plumbing sections of stores like Home Depot. There is the narrow one that GE used for their "unicouple" and the wider one used by others. Your machine takes the wider one. It will be on a card inside a hard plastic bubble. If you do a Google Search for dishwasher faucet adapter, you can find them online.

Found One!

It ended up being the long format wide barrel type in steved's second photo. Works like a charm. The dishwasher it's self is a little overzealous though and has a tendency lo launch the lighter dishes up and over hahaha. Thanks for all your help friends, I really appreciate it.
