I appreciate the photo of your loading technique.  You are right about the straps on a dolly, Useless to move these.  Appliance delivery men back in the day must of jumped for joy when Westinghouse changed to a squared off cabinet.   Thanks  Arthur

Beautiful!

I am just catching up and seeing this, what a beautiful Westinghouse, congratulations on such a fine Christmas present to yourself!

Water level selecter switch

Where is the water level selecter switch on this machine? I see the weigh to save scale to the right of the door seal. What is the switch to the right of the main timer knob? It look like its missing the knob. Just curious!!!! Thanks! David

No matter which way you use the dolly...

I am reading your post (# 18) & got a good laugh. I actually moved the slant-front dryer I got this past weekend into the house last night to protect it from the big rains that were headed our way. I borrowed a dolly from work & purchased a strap to tie it down. However, with that slanted front it was not that simple! The strap kept slipping up under the top. I had removed the clips to hold the top down when I was first looking inside. So, there was nothing at all to stop that strap from slipping all the way up! And, man, that machine is so big, it barely fit through the doors!
