Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Looks like the one small knob is either a Water Level or Water Temp...

Kind'a hope it's the former, and the timer dial determines the Temp. rather than be a Timed Fill, vs. Metered Fill...

Would rather see a shot of that--and what makes something that low-line SIX CYCLE...!

cycle count

Don't ever trust a Cycle Count. I've had washers that counted timer portion REGULAR and GENTLE (2) times 3 temps( HWC on another dial) as 6 cycles. It's marketing/labeling stupidity. I also had a one-speed Admiral that did the agitate/pause/repeat for the gentle cycle and labeled itself as "2 Speed Combinations."  A case can be made that a SOAK cycle or PreWash cycle is a real cycle or not, but counting water temp versus same exact timer portion is cheating, and common with many manufacturers.

I had a BOL model similar to this without the knob. When I removed the back panel from my old one, there was an adjustable pressure switch hiding in there. Same placement as this one.

Water temps were determined by the timer.
