The buttons, the 36" width and the oven bake element (possibly) make me lean toward some Roper influence. We have seen some Roper-built ranges with similar backsplashes on this site. From the model no. it is 1959. The styling from the front looks Norge-geeky and in 1959, Norge did offer 36" electric ranges in their own line, some with 7 heat controls, and I guess if Wards wanted buttons instead of rotary switches, Norge could provide them so it probably is a Norge.
