That's an interesting one. Believe they used Westinghouse for the bulk of their electric stoves during that time period (I had one in a rental in Tampa, FL which was a Signature 40" bol stove made by Westinghouse), but as I recall it had continuous dial controls. I'd bet this was a one-off (note the 7-temp buttons) for that 36" width (even then manufacturers didn't make all sizes) sourcing to complete the line.

The buttons, the 36" width and the oven bake element (possibly) make me lean toward some Roper influence. We have seen some Roper-built ranges with similar backsplashes on this site. From the model no. it is 1959. The styling from the front looks Norge-geeky and in 1959, Norge did offer 36" electric ranges in their own line, some with 7 heat controls, and I guess if Wards wanted buttons instead of rotary switches, Norge could provide them so it probably is a Norge.

I thought pushbutton cooktops were the dominion of GE and Hotpoint... Good to know! I always learn something new here...

Looks VERY similar to a late 50s Kenmore stove... including the seven button settings....

7 heats...

Norge Kelvinator Crosley Monarch Kenmore and Coolerator used 7 heat switches with Chromalox units, GE made most of the pushbutton switches for other manufacturers,and were used by many also.
