Was this a very lest generation Kenmore Calypso?

Yes that was the final model.

Kenmore changed the control panel design on their Calypso models.  Whirlpool kept the same panel throughout the run.

LAST KM CALYPSO

Yes only KM restyled the Calypso and if you look carefully they even dropped the Calypso name. These last ones were very good but I don't think they made them very long. Whenever I see Calypsos in good shape I grab them, I intend to have one for the rest of my life as I still thing this is one of the best washers designs ever.
