Hi Again!

I've been here for about 1 day so far & have already learnt a lot from my P&G Detergents thread (that got off to a bit of a shaky start) but recently on eBay I found the wash balls (laundry balls). I always thought they were very expensive but found some for as little as 99p!

I am creating this thread to see what AW.org's forum posters think of Wash Balls & if they would use them, despite the fact that they require NO detergent / fabric conditioner / stain remover etc.

Hopefully this thread will attract a few more posters & in a few days I will post pics of my Washing Machine / Tumble Dryer when people get to know me a little better.

THAT'S ALL FOR NOW!!!

Oh dear, these again? Just a big a con as those magnetic water softeners!

As they say, a fool and his money are easily parted - so don't be a fool and buy these, they DO NOT WORK! PERIOD!

stay away!

We bought the icon washing ball from verimark (a highly respectable store chain that sells top quality home care products) and it was useless. The washing smelt strange afterwards and even though I sprayed stain remover on the marks, they didn't wash out.
However, I have dryer balls in both my dryers and really like them. They do a good job at softening towels and jeans that have been line dried and do help keep stuff apart while drying.
So I'd stay far away from washing balls but will use dryer balls
