Hey there,

Since it was so much fun, we've decided to repeat the get-together we had in July of last year! It'll be Saturday, July 14th in Southborough MA (hot dogs, hamburgers, etc., like last year). This is a preliminary posting so you can mark the date on your calendars. There will be more details coming, including the possibility of a group trip to Brimfield on Friday, the 13th. We're also planning on hosting dinner here Friday evening for those coming in early.

What are your thoughts? Who's interested?

I know that the gatherings that Rich and Chuck have are fantastic, have always wanted to attend one. Which airport would be best to fly into?

The excitement is building!!!

Looks like we are headed toward another fantastic turn out. I want to clarify something that I was asked in private. This wash-in, just like any other that I know of, is for EVERYONE!!! Not just people form the New England area!! COME ONE-COME ALL!!!

Logan airport is the closest airport to us. It's just a 30-40 min drive. The next closest would be the T F Green airport in Rhode Island. This is about an hour away. Please email if you have any concerns or need some help in the travel/lodging dept. We will do our best to help.

I think that Chuck is going to post something about lodging options. We have a few that are very nice and only a couple/few miles away

Chuck and I can't wait. We look forward to seeing all of the "old faces" as well as meeting the new ones.

Here's some info for ya regarding the local lodgings and airports for those of you who've asked, and those of you who haven't too! Hopefully we'll have the firm date/time arrangements for you just a little later this coming week.

LODGING:
Motel 6, Route 9 (Worcester Rd) Framingham MA- got good reviews from Toggle last year. Least expensive.

Red Roof Inn, Southborough MA- just say no.

Either of the Extended Stay America properties in Westborough MA: good value for people wanting to share a larger room/mini-suite.

AIRPORTS:
*Worcester Regional, Worcester MA (ORH)- 1/2 hour West
*Logan International, Boston MA (BOS)- 40 minutes East, also has an express shuttle to Framingham MA, about 10 minutes East of here.
*T F Green, Providence RI (PVD)- 1 hour Southish
*Manchester Regional, Manchester NH (MHT)- 1 hour Northish

Can't Find this Hotel on Motel 6.com where is it at IE:address??? Trying to get all prices down as i found a plane ticket for a whopping $99 from RDU to Boston and rental car would be $50 additional.. So far this trip is cheap, but can't find hotel info

Motel 6 Framingham is actually listed as Motel 6 Boston West - Framingham, property #1249, 1668 Worcester Rd, Framingham MA 01702. Phone # is 508-620-0500. You may want to hold a bit before making reservations until we can post the 100% sure pre-post July 14 event dates. So far, we know dinner on Friday the 13th is safe, as is breakfast on Sunday the 15th.

Rich has just accepted a job, and doesn't know if he can get the full day off on Friday. Plus, I'm having surgery on one of three dates between June 21 and July 9th. We should have all of the details worked out by the middle of this coming week though. Stay tuned all y'all!!!
