Yogi, you may like him...

But there are some people around here who really don't, because a lot of restaurants and small businesses are having a hard time with the draconian rules that he and Dr. Rachel imposed.  Especially on Facebook, some people make fun of him and Dr. (Rachel/Richard) Levine.

That said, actually here in PA we are much better off now with the Covid situation than places like Texas, Arizona, and Florida which had less strict rules.

Some things I did disagree with, for example, when we were in Red Alert, I thought lawn and garden stores could safely be open, they were when we went to Yellow

In the local area, the controversial person is Rich Fitzgerald, the Allegheny "County Executive".  We had a spike in Covid because all the bars opened up, people got drunk, became loud, slobbered all over each other, and now we have a Covid outbreak, so he closed the bars here, which has people protesting.  I myself was mad at Rich because he closed all the county pools all this summer, using "lack of lifeguards" as an excuse (yet somehow, they have had enough lifeguards in the past).  By the way, Rich is a surly engineer with 8 kids.

But Yogi, would you be willing to be an Allegheny County Lifeguard so we can open the pools?

2 weeks away!

It's coming soon.....if you ARE coming, please reply to this post only if you are coming so I can have an idea of how many...If you are not coming, because you have to give your goldfish a bath, then dont reply...lol

My cup size is

runneth over!! ^_^ I still wear a large T, etc. but I'm getting some pecs. I'm tired of being home all the darn time. Hubby won't go anywhere, and won't allow me back in if I do unless there are no new covid cases reported. Wew had 144 again yesterday. Heck, I'd even drive and take along a travel companion pro bono. I know the Pittsburgh area like my hand, as I was born there. Lived just a few miles from Verona in Plum.

We are thankful to Jerry for hosting this fantastic event.....you dont know what you missed...

lots of fun and laughter, learned a few new things, several new attendees to meet, wonderful sightseeing trips around Penn Hills.....

by Sunday we were wiped out.....you couldn't pack any more into a weekend....

if you missed it, mark your calendars, as I am sure Jerry will host another 1 year from now, plenty of notice to schedule your time off.....
