Mikey!

Hi Mikey its Jacob!

As you probably know, Chris is coming to mine on Wednesday while Sunday so we will probably get in touch with you during the week.

Glad you had a good time and some cool machines you have!

Jacob

Hi

Yes, it was a great day, we put the Servis Gem, Quartz and the Classica in, but spun the rest :)

Here are a few pics of Mike's machines!

The Servis Dryer will be mine and my servis dryer will be his. :)

The Gem. This weighs a bloody ton but is a great washer and it is quieter than the WT960 washing when this is at 1000!

Hoover Electron A3254 round door 800 machine. Sadly I didn't see this or the W085 going.

If anyone has a drawer front going spare, please let Mike know!

The Sapphire AutoSelect 1300 and the Servis dryer that matches the 3305, so we're swapping, because my MK262 goes with the MK600.

Seems like you all

had a great time, and great Chris that you got to experience one of your dream machines, always a special moment that many of us here have experienced, great you have to.

Mikey that classica looks in fantastic condition, unlike my severly yellowed aristocrat classica washer dryer. Having seen so many sorry looking softwaves about I'm so pleased to see a classica in good condition.

Enjoy your summer of meeting up and laundry fun

Mathew

Final pic

Final pic for now, the other 3 in his room. If anyone wants close ups of the machines then just ask and I'll happily post them. :)

Thanks you Mike!

Chris!

Vids coming next Sunday.

Mathew..

...It was truly AMAZING! It was so great! A dream come true! It was such a treat seeing such a classic in person and going! I just loved every second of it!

There is an old woman down my old road who still has her SoftWave 800, and when that dies, it's mine :) Link attached to my SoftWave gallery.

Another pic of the Quartz for good measure!

Chris.

Wow, I've not seen a Servis Gem in that style in a LONG time. I believe those were the first of the post-Merloni take over machines. Great machines, very reliable and decent wash action, just a shame about the crappy drum paddles which means the machine was useless if it wasn't a full load

Mikey

Hey there, I must pop out and visit you some time, been ages since I've seen you. Your Servis Gem looks like an updated version of the Fridgidare washer that Rob and Paul have.

dispenser front

Hi Mike

found this one which whilst not the exact model may be an improvement over no cover, especially if you could paint over the blue line with white or yellow, but that would take a steadier hand than ive got. Anyway email me your address if you'd like me to send it to you.

AutoSelect 6065

Aquarius8000,

Mikey came down to me a couple weekends ago, to collect the Mk600, he brought the Servis AutoSelect 6065 down with him because he couldn't fathom how to programme it very well, now he knows how to, I hope, it'll go in with the Mk600, ultimately.

How the hell he managed to get it back under your "SwapaServisDryer", I've no idea, but he's definitely stronger than me, what with having two useable arms/hands, unlike me, I'm more tech support for laundry appliances.

Glad you enjoyed your visit, & hopefully, if I come down south, I'll call round to you.

Btw, there're new vids on my WD860 YT account, & the 01st wash load in the Quartz.

The Bendix 7179

Wow, very cool, sounds like a great time!

What is the capacity of that Bendix 7179, 1.5 or 2 kg?  haha?

It looks SUPER tiny, almost like a toy!

Kevin

Bendix 7179

Hi the Eudora Goldkind (Bendix Super Compact) is a 2.5 kilo with a 550rpm

The Eudora Euronova is the smallest 3 kilo in the world and is very ecologic using up to 48 litres of water spin speed of up to 1000 rpm
Thanks CJ was nice to see you too.

Servis Auto select 6065 parts

Were can I get a drum spider for my Servis Auto select 6065. I have had a major blow out on mine and two of the spider arms have sheared. Have been lucky no major damage. Drum ok with some scuffing to drum housing front face. If any one can help with this search for parts especially in the UK. Would be most grateful on any leads.
Chris.
