I took a double-take - a gas washer would really be elusive.

That's a deal, for $50. I just found a slate gray gas model like the above, for $300! (ouch)

I was making a joke.  Ad text often describes the washer and dryer as both being electric ... which infers that a (natural or LP) gas washer is an option.
