That is really fun Eric!! I remember at Jeff and Cal's (jeff_adelphi) house they had made a coffee table out of a small front loader drum, a Whirlpool or Kenmore belt-drive wash basket would also work well.

The first time I saw a hanging lamp from a washer tub was in a 60s BH&G or AH and it was a WP/Kenmore tub.

I wouldn't have a clue as to the manufacturer. But I love the idea, I think I'll try it. If it were a top loader, I could guess it, but I know zilch about older front loaders.
