Washer Dryer Combo : Beko vs Candy vs Indesit

So, my next older brother will be moving into a flat with some mates from university.

They need a washer (duh) and asked me (duh) to help them find one. I'd like them to get a washer-dryer combo due to space and laundry knowledge reasons (can't trust them with line drying and ironing).

Price wise, these 3 offer best value.

Indesit EWDE 71680 W DE:
The Indesit has 1600rpm, the daily quick cycles (which, however, are limited to lower spin speeds) and 4 drying degrees. However, it got a smaller drum (52l), the UI isn't as easy to use (some symbols instead of text) and it's Indesit (quality?). It's 400€.

Candy GVW 585TWC:
The Candy offers 1500rpm, a nice quick cycle with a recurculation system (I think; at least it got the MixPower spray system) and is pretty big (it's 60cm deep, opposed to the 54cm of both the Indesit and the Beko). It got nice clear text pretty much everywhere, however it's Candy. Meh. It's somewhere around 450€.

Beko WDW 85140:
It is pretty close to the Indesit, however with only pure text on the facia and the apparently verry good daily quick wash cycle by Beko that can boilwash in less then 90 minutes. It's 450€ as well.

Has anyone ever used any of these or simmilar models? Maybe anyone might even be abled to compare drying temperatures.

My vote goes to the Beko - hands down the best machines at the budget end of the market. Ok, they're not Siemens or Miele, but they wash well, easy to use and relatively reliable. Certainly better than anything Indesit or Candy are churning out. The higher end models are induction too, so very quiet.

Got to agree with Aquacycle. It is actually far better to get separate as they are more reliable machines but if you can only choose out of those 3 then it has to be the beko hands down in my opinion.

Buy a candy or an indesit and you'll have problem after problem where as beko are actually quite Wel built for the price.

I have to agree with Aquacycle. Beko is the better option by far. If you get the indesit or candy your asking for problem after problem. The beko on the other hand is relatively well built especially for the price of them however in general separate washers and dryers are more reliable, if you do have that extra bit of space.

I've had two beko washers now. First one had three years of heavy use and never missed a beat. It's in my brothers now as I bought a larger drum beko and again it's been faultless. Great choice of programmes and not silly hours and hours of wash times. I can't comment on the beko dryers as I've never had one. I'm still using my hotpoint dryer I bought six years ago and touch wood no problems

On Which, new Beko washer dryers score higher than Indesit and Candy machines, with the main criticism being that the dryer sensor is sometimes inaccurate. However from my experience, most drying sensors in washer dryers struggle with things like large sheets and duvet covers which come out with damp patches.

As much as I like Hoover/Candy stuff and I HATE washer dryers, Beko gets my vote, especially as I did have an Indesit washer dryer and whilst it worked ok it didnt last well and in the last few weeks of its life it developed an issue where if I was to put another wash on straight after using the dryer, it would freeze mid cycle and all the lights would flash in unison.
