I went to take the fill hoses off my washer today, and there must have been a small leak because they have quite a bit of mineral deposits on them and they won't budge an inch. I was wondering if I put a rag soaked with vinegar around the hose end if it would get rid of the deposit so I can removed the hoses.

Anyone have other suggestions?

Channel Lock pliers

Give a set of Channel Locks a try, but don't squeeze too hard. You don't want to crush the plastic water valve inlets. The rag soaked in CLR is also probably helpful.

I use either an automotive penetrant for rusted bolts or the famous WD-40......soak it well and let it set for a while and that should do the trick...
