Wow, this one just has the water level outside the timer dial, which operates only on one speed and sets the wash ad rinse temperature for you...

Usually the old appliance ads would show a washer like this--a GE with just presumably one toggle-switch & the tub with a gaggle of suds, in a realistic drawing, with the lint filter removed, among similar descriptions of other brands...

I love seeing these variations.  I always wonder about the actual price differentials or if these low-feature models were made for just certain distributors or something like that.
 
There was one model even lower than that one. My aunt gave it to me when she moved into senior housing. No toggles, one level, one speed, straight vane, Hot wash warm rinse only but did have a filter flo. I put a jumper wire in so temps were adjusted on the faucet. Last I knew it was still running strong after nearly 40 years.
 
Glad it doesn’t have GE’s typical “soil”—Yuk!

Well, it’s that one pictured that would suit my needs even more than those that do more for you...

I like the simplicity of it, and appreciate it at least being able to adjust the water levels...
