Water sitting in my LG 3570 bleach dispenser

I just got an LG 3570 washer a couple weeks ago and have noticed that almost from the start there's always some water sitting in my bleach dispenser. See pic taken after three days of not using the machine. Any ideas why this is happening and if it is a major cause for concern? Thanks.

Leaking water solenoid

Would seem to be the most likely culprit. It would take a long time to fill your drum and actually flood the floor with water since it is a slow leak but a leak you DON'T want to have.

Each of those sections has its own valve so you can probably get away with replacing only the offending one. Check the part number for it and let m,e know as I have all the valves from my ill-fated LG. Figured that they may come in handy one day!

On my LG 3570 washer, it does the same thing, but not that much. I would take the drawer out and drain it and see if the water comes into the drawer on its own after a couple of days. If its dry then I wouldn't worry about it much. It could also be that the water isn't siphoning out of the dispenser like it should during a cycle and also depends on the cycle you use too.

On our LG with the identical dispenser drawer we also see a small amount of water remaining in the bleach dispenser. I usually dump it at the end of the day and have not seen it reappear when the washer sits for several days of non-use.

I have an LG WM3170CW with the exact same dispenser and also find that water will remain in the bleach compartment after using the machine. Just like in the reply above I empty the water and it doesn't reappear. I believe that this is just characteristic of these LG FL's and nothing to worry about.

It is a characteristic of all front loaders.  Some water in the dispenser is going to remain somewhere. 

I have always emptied out the dispenser and actually dried out the insides of any front loader I have ever used.

I might think that the water in the water paths aboth the drawer is just flowing back into the drawer.

Siphon-type dispensers never completely empty. Best to empty them manually at the conclusion of washday so that mildew is minimized.
