Today I was cleaning the kitchen, and after I was done I took a second to notice that even after wiping all the appliances down with a clean wet cloth after using a cleaner, then polishing with a microfiber cloth, they just didn't shine as much as I'd like. Then it hit me -- what if I use a little car wax on them? I have some quick spray stuff that is actually more trouble than a normal squirt bottle on the cars, but works well if you work one small spot at a time. The appliances have just such small areas, so it was perfect! I buffed them clean and they shine like new money! Our black Samsung side-by-side fridge looks like a showroom model, and the Whirlpool dishwasher went from looking like a new machine already to looking like it was just taken out of the box for the first time!

I'm probably late to the game here, but I had never heard of or thought of it before. Seriously, it will make them glossier than a still pond and they'll be a smooth as velvet to the touch. And I'm sure that dust and grime won't stick as well too.

Jubilee:

Has been picked up by another company and is back in production. A little Googling will let you know where to find some.

Waxing appliances not only makes them attractive, it prevents rust. Highly recommended.

I recently ran across a recommendation for Collinite No. 845 Insulator Wax on automobiles.  It works nicely on stainless steel so ought to be good on painted appliance finishes.

I have some of the Jubilee wax from Malco.  That stuff is fantastic and it smells nice.  It also works on practically everything.  I regularly wax our appliances, counters, and cabinets and have found that it also repels dust.  It's also safe for things like our ceramic and glass lamps.  I love the stuff and it goes a long way.

Been Doing it for Years!

I use Mothers Gold Carnuba car paste wax on all of my appliances.I even do the inside lid on the old frogeye. Its a great and longlasting wax.Hard as a turtles shell!

I didn't even realize that you can see the spray bottle of the wax I used in the third picture. It's Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax. It went on smoothly and left behind a beautiful sheen and now everything is so smooth to the touch. It actually had a pleasant smell too. I'll have to try some of the others you guys listed.
