I need this filter for a MicroHood I have here. No one who SELLS the part can tell me if this is

A)one filter, so I should order 2 for this unit

B)a pack of two filters, so I would only need one

I tried calling GE parts this morning. They are already closed for the holiday. (must be nice)

My parts distributor in Honolulu didn't know, don't have in stock. I'd hate to order only 1, then after waiting forever, find out I need two. Conversly, I don't want an extra filter.

Hope one of the fine minds on this board can give me an answer

I'm fixing to close on a house (not yet a year old) that has a GE kitchen -- I think all from the Profile line. Upscale SxS, range, microhood, and DW (which will be swapped out for my F&P DD). Am I headed for disaster?

Glenn, I hope the closing is all the "fixing" you will have to do. ;-)

(Sorry....LOL...if it hadn't been me, it would have been Bob. I couldn't resist!)

Nightmare

Well the only nightmare so far is trying to find out what this bloody part number consists of!

DADoES, I had an all GE kitchen at my house in St. Paul. At first my boss gave me guff about GE being junk, but then we had our share of trouble with Whirlpool and Maytag, so the GE junk is no worse than the other junk out there.

I can hardly believe that the Parts Answer Center is closed already for the holiday. I got just one little question....

This number isn't listed in the Sundberg catalog, RepairClinic shows only one in this picture and gives no further description - dig the price though!

Glenn, congrats on the new house - glad to hear you got it! You probably will take your F&P dishdrawers with you, but it will be fun to play with the GE for a while regardless. GE cooking and refrigeration still has a reasonable reputation for performance, hopefully you won't need service ;-) Be sure to share some pictures when you get a chance.

Finally found out!

I finally got through to GE today. Of course the part # is for one filter only, so must order two at $22 bucks a crack for this oven. The consignee on this microhood told me her husband threw them away and that the new ones are only $4. Clueless!

Generally Expensive
