So we've had the yellow '56 General Electric Liberator 40" range in the kitchen for years in rare sunshine yellow and now we go and find the exact same range but in pink. The pink works wonderfully and is all original including the Sensitemp which the yellow had replaced with a standard burner years before I found it. The Yellow has better trim pieces, and is in just fair working condition. So we can take the parts of both ranges and make one really good one. The problem is which color. It's killing us lol. We've been moving the ranges in and out of the kitchen all day, we even put them together, so what do you guys think? Pink or Yellow?????

PINK!!

I LOVE pink, I hope that sensi temp works, all of the ones I ever had were an aggrivation...including the Norge, which im going to convert to a regular switch soon, I love all the colors in your house, just beautiful.

There is no wrong choice . . .

Both colors look great in your kitchen so it's very much a personal preference. I like the yellow a tad more than the pank, but then again if it were me I'd be looking for a turquoise range!

Both are so beautiful, and both look so darn great in your kitchen!
I can see why you guys are having such a hard time deciding!

How about blocking that door and keeping both!

Is the porcelain on the pink one in good shape? On the pictures, both look clean!

If I'd have to choose between both, I think it would be the yellow one. If you use the pink range, you should paint the front panels on the Kitchen Aid and the Roto-Rack in yellow to balance it! With two pink appliances, the Turquoise fridge will look mismatched!

We do admittedly have a problem... We ventured out today for yet another on that was on Craigslist, not a TOL model. Nicer chip-free drawers and extra parts.

Does the one you parted out still had it's automatic Calrod?  If it does, then you could transfer this one on the yellow range and keep both the other pink and the yellow one!

I really like the pink. In the first photo when they're side by side, the pink stands out. It also matches the dishwasher across the aisle. And besides, pink makes
a statement, while yellow is neutral, if you get my drift.

And the yellow matches the wall across from the stove. This would balance the room by having yellow on both sides of the kitchen.

Love those dishwashers with the windows! I wish they made them that way. Do you have any water heat loss with those?

Robert & Fred. They both look so nice. I wish you the best and hope you have enough parts to make both ranges work. The Yellow is nice in fall and winter, pink for spring and summer. Eliminate the heart wrenching decision. Who knows you may now or in the future have a summer house or something. I like them both. Arthur

I like

The pink one.
But what would it look like with the fronts of the yellow put the on the pink? Or vice versa?
I mean since you can't decide LOL
