That dishwasher turned out beautiful!!  Nice to have the KA back, I'm sure.  

 

For a trim piece done in the color you want, $200 sounds like a lot but it's a one-time expense.  I've paid that for re-chroming pieces of trim on my WI-57 and still have the DI-57 chrome to do and it will likely be double as there's more to do.  All in the name of appliance-love...

However you have your kitchen it looks great. Personally I like the DW in yellow better than when it was pink. And not that the pink range doesnt look great in its own right but I liked how the yellow range stood out more. I would say that the pink being more subdued makes it blend in with the white in the kitchen.

But it may be the angle of the shot too. It might look very different looking straight at it against the turquoise wall. Could also be the color reproduction of the camera. Like Robert said the color of the DW is actually different than it appears in the picture.

What about mixing the colors? Put pink doors on yellow range or verse visa?

How can you go wrong with either choice? The kitchen looks fabulous, in either color scheme! You are lucky to have them to choose from!

Robert & Fred the kitchen appliances look great, just the way you have them.  The 1963 Frigidaire dishwasher is stunning.  Frigidaire really must of had a "serious" design team.
