I believe this is Kenmore or Whirlpool. It clearly states that it is Automatic. I couldn't get any closer to it given boxes in the way. It is still installed. Hasn't been used in 15 years. It will be interesting to see if if is rusted bad. That is dirt on the top(from ceiling)[this post was last edited: 7/28/2010-23:45]

GE Stove

This really seems like its in pretty good condition. Needs wipe down, but it didn't seem rusted or damaged.

D&M made Frigidaire circa 1982ish

sorry for the foggy photo. lesson: camera straight out of air-conditioned car into humid day creates sweating.

and more. My camera batteries ran low so I need to go back for the pics of the computerized Speed Queen washer, another Whirlpool BD washer, and GE Frig.

Ok

Yes you have a Kenmore dryer... looks like a '57???

And the second is a classic belt drive Whirlpool washer, not a design 2000 machine; those were direct drives. Looks like a nice machine!

I love the Compact vacuum cleaner. Straight out of "Hardware Wars." I hope to find one someday. I've only seen them in aqua so that burgundy color is particularly appealing for a masculine household.

That GE stove is nice; it's a 36-inch-wide model from about 1955. GE marketed this size to compete with gas ranges. Most common size for gas ranges was 36 inches, so this offered a change out without modifications to cabinetry. It was dropped in 1957 when GE introduced the 30 inch models.

I like it.

Hoover Twin Tub...

That is actually a Speed Queen/Simplicity Super Twin. They're an agitator based twin-tub built from a Servis machine. I wish one would pop up around here. I drove to WI to get a rusted out one :(

Tristar!

That red vacuum is a tristar. It should be a 2 speed model.

WHOA! an excellent vacuum you will find. Probably the most powerful canister vacuum I have ever used.

Dont let the paint loss scare you! These things are indestructible!

More pics

these are at the local store. The pics aren't the best(it was night). I think I may retake. They have added a bit more inventory since the last time I was there, about a week ago. I'm impressed. But I know that some of these machines have been sitting there for a few months.

Also, looked inside the '57 (?) Kenmore dryer. It seems clean. the inside is dark blue, but shiney. the inside door was still white, but slightly discolored. I'm going to try and move it out tomorrow, excuse me, today, and clean it up.

Also, I found a Frigidaire I-18 pair, in Harvest Gold. They are in storage, I assume it is a W-D pair, as apposed to 2 dryers or 2 washers. I just happened on them. Boom, right in front of my face. And ... I didn't have my camera with. I will be going back though. Stay tuned.

If anyone is interested in any of these, let me know.

So first we'll start with Speed Queen

The computerized washer. My quess on age, I would say 1990?

On to .... Allis Chalmers ???

they made major appliances? Does anyone know if they made anything other than refrigs?

nice color. I would say .... (clock ticking) 1972.

how about...

Crosley.

My quess on this is early 80s. ???

It's small. I would say 24" wide and about 32" high. Like one of the GE compacts from the 70s. I've seen Samsung like this before. My quess is a rebadging.

GE

for those FF fans. Or perhaps FR(filter ring), if a bought our companies name fits on slightly redesigned GE product.

frig

round top from early to mid 60s. I know, it would be better with a front shot. But, as you can see, its blocked in.
I don't know, do you remember refrigs coming with the option, color co-ordinated screw on towel rack option in painted wood? How much was that?
