Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

It's all perfectly clean, if a little suspect. To quote Peg "some of those tips aren't worth shucks." Add a teaspoon of pepper to the wash to keep colors from fading?
Anyone want to try this and file a report?

cola?

I don't believe most of what's on there. Sugar, milk and pepper? Talk about attracting bugs. That may work someplace other than the south. Sounds like the bugs would be totin' that sucker off. I tried the pepper thing. Didn't notice anything special. And what disease did cured ham actually have? The cola thing might work depending on the clog. If it can clean rust off cast iron there may be something to it.

I'm not sure about some of those tips, but a few of them such as the club soda tip for red wine stains, the peanut butter tip and the apple tip for tomatoes have work and have been around for ages.

The only thing I can think of that cured ham might have would be Trichinosis...

It's rare, but it does still exist. Today, one of the primary causes of trichinosis in America is the consumption of raw or undercooked wild game meats

CRISCO!

I was on the transit train in Atlanta a few years ago when I overheard a young woman talking to an elderly lady about skin care. She asked the older woman how she kept her shin so soft and wrinkle free. I was horrified when the older lady said she put a good coating of crisco on her face before bedtime!

Oil of Olay maybe if I were gonna cream up at night before going to bed. Crisco, yuck!!
