What a wonderful conversion from garage to vintage washroom !! Complete with all the classic's Parnall, Bendix, Thor, Hotpoint...too name just a few, stunning job, love the taps & tiles really adds to the authentic feel.

Do you want to MK1 Debonair & Easiclene back which you gave me all those years ago..lol - must get up to see it at some point.

These boys are having too much fun, but ploughing through the laundry, water pipes and drains are being thoroughly first water tested ready for opening day !!

Even the wringer washers are ready to get in on the action, the 1950`s English Electric wash n rinse, and Britains favourite and backbone of British washday The Hotpoint Empress wringer which was the one I watched my gran use as a kid !!

Time to hang and fix up the Beldray Iron Holder and Tidy to hold the 1960`s Morphy Richard Senior Dry Iron, and the 1940`s wooden ironing board, a new floral cover is being run up on the Jones treadle sewing machine as we speak.

The opposite wall to the Parnalls houses Big Berta Bendix LT washer dryer fully restored & working , the Hotpoint 1504 toploader , a modern Miele classic front loader and 1960'Parnall vented dryer . up

Do you use any of the Ascot water heaters ?, They look really cool, I recycled an interesting 1980s water heating unit that was part of a Gas High-Efficiency  home water heater to heat the water for my hot-tub, works great.

 

I have started remolding my home laundry room, your progress will inspire me to keep plugging along,

Afternoon Keith, I`m sure Darren will be along shortly busy with work etc..oh yes he did mention dropping those off to you years ago on his way to Gatwick, youll have a fab time I`m sure when you get up to see the new washroom -AND dont forget the pedal power Thor for spares you mentioned him having a few yrs ago , may be needing it with all these renovations lol..

Hi Mike,

I was speaking to Darren about the Thor etc the other day, I think he has the earlier model if it's the one in the corner of the garage or it maybe it was a 260 that he got a few years ago, I can't remember if it was Darren or someone else.

I need to start to make one good one out of the 3 Foot pedal machines I've got, time is just never on my side these days. LOL
