Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Good work

Robert emailed me a couple of weeks ago, there's some photos of maint manuals for the 1-18 which mostly apply to the rollermatic as well.

I found two directories with stuff

change the 001.jpg to 002.jpg, 003.jpg, etc. for the other pages

Here's the switch section

Thanks Rich!!!

yeah, I'm a bit concerned about the bellows due to the fact that the tub nut was so rusted. Also, I found a small tear in the spin shaft seal, but I can probably use a bit of silicone caulk if there is no seal avalible. The rubber mechansm support is fine, no tears and didn't sustain any heat damage from the torch.

You can always surprise me with something that you think I may need :-)

Thanks again buddy!

Dave,

Are you going to take your sure spin clutch apart and clean the brake linings before you reassemble your washer? Also is the seal you want part #6336926? Just email me all the parts you want, and I'll hunt them down once I get back home. And if you want both the water and oil bellows, just let me know. I'm also thinking I have a few sets of rollers and drivers, too. How are the coupling and your agitate arm?

Rich

yes, can you send me the bellows (oil and water). I wasn't going to take the clutch apart for fear of f&*%ing it up and I'd be back to square one. Is this an easy job? I have the repair master, but it's not the best roadmap since they hop between the 1-18 and the Rollermatic. Here's a shot of the seal...

Yes, that's the tub seal. You really can't screw up the clutch. Just watch those 3 small springs. Once you clean and reassemble the clutch, you'll see how much faster the tub stops spinning when the cycle ends.
