Maytag, Performance You Can Depend On!!!

Nice one Jamie, I bet you didnt sleep the night that came in!!!you know the more I see this machine the more you can (IMHO) understand what the designers/engineers where trying to do, when you see it wash empty its all the makings nearly of a front loader wash action, where is the jet that keeps spraying all over etc??

enjoy, Mike

Wow that is something different.
It looks like those discs take up a lot of room in the tub, what is the load size of the machine?
When it spins, I guess some of the clothes are against the stainless steel drum and some are against the discs? Does that create any balancing hassles? What is the spin speed? Anyone have a diagram of the mechanism?

Thanks Jamie.

Chris.

The discs don't take up a whole lot of room in the machine, the indentation around the sprial on them them is quite deep. The machine is rated at 3.5 cubic feet, but I think it's a lot bigger than that, a queen sized comforter that would not fit in my dad's Whirlpool Duet washer fit in this machine without any problem and got very well cleaned too!

The machine balances itself pretty well, the discs aren't a problem because they are exactly opposite eachother. The discs are also perforated to extract any water from the clothes laying against the discs during spin.

I'm not certain about the spin speed, I believe my machine has a top speed of 900 RPM and the LCD model has a top speed of 1,000 RPM.
