YUP!!!
the fingers DEFINITELY hurted!!! i thought for sure the nails got ripped off my 2 fingers!!! in fact, typing, they still feel pretty tender. but i can do sooo much more with them now than i could at first. even just to straighten my fingers it hurted me!!! so, "T&T" helped (Time & Tylenol)!!! LOL....
as for the lint filter, i remember reading a post of your's where you had warned "be sure you keep your foot firmly on the lint filter when power spraying it at a car wash, to clean it out. or the lint filter would go flying with the pressure of the power wash spray".
and that was going to be my 2nd option if the vinegar soak overnight, didn't work.
hm hm....
and for the fill stream direction, i definitely like this fill spray waaaay better. to me, it seems to spray on the clothes better during the spray rinse. before with the 208, i would wait for the spray rinse and then, i would hold my handn in the spray stream to direct the water more onto the clothes to get a cleaner spray rinse. so i am like you, & happy with the direction that the 608 fill stream has and i prefer it too!! ;o)
as for the water level when i washed that blanket, yes, it was on "extra large". and you know, i thought the same thing too, about the water being kinda too low. in fact, on the "small" load, the water didn't even reach the first filter hole in the agitator. which i thought was kinda strange cuz then that makes the filter useless on a small load??
and i do remember reading somewhere that you can adjust the amount of water to less or more on these maytags, but i didn't understand exactly how to do it?
and another thing, when i did fill the washer on the extra large load, under the fabric softer dispenser cup, when the washer was agitating, suds came up through that hole in the center of the fabric softener dispenser fitting, where the fabric softener ends up draining down. so, i thought maybe that was enough water for the extra large water level???
thanks again yogitunes!!!
