The model above the one you have, is a touch control with the "stain brain" built in. I bought the "Stain Brain" model since it will not only tell you how to deal with just about every type of stain, but also has a built in heater. Still didn't get very good performance though, and it always bitched about being oversudsed.....which increased the wash time significantly. Mark Lightedcontrols

Hi Mark, the model I have the "stain brain" but does not have the 1000rpm spin or the heater, that was the higher end model. I suspect the model with the heater will do a much better job on whites.
