Museum hours? Nice job and great conversation pieces. Not to sound trivial, but ...what about dust? I sound like my mom, for sure. lol. So many different, colorful and interesting mixers. Truly a labor of love. I have a few, but after looking at all of yours...maybe my labor is about to desert the love. famous last words.

What have you made used the FoodMatic? What do like and dislike about the unit? The only mixer I have seen using a similar configuration was a short-lived model made by Black & Decker. I have notseen this mixer in any collection posted by anyone.

I made a pound cake with it and thought it was much better than a Nutone.

Those large KA mixers were usually seen in any bake shop.I have one of those BD mixers-bought it from Sears in Manassas,VA when they came out.Its still packed away from the move to Greenville.The few times I used it-was a good machine-but KA,Kenwood,Sunbeam were better.

Don't think Hans will have too much of a problem with dust when he has all those wonderful old vacuums to keep everything clean
