Well, this is the toughest part...

of collecting. Having to choose which machines to move out of the collection... I had a banner year in terms of machine acquisition this year (6 dishwashers so far, 2 washers, and a dryer) but the basement is starting to fill up and my new display gallery in the upstairs part of the garage is nowhere near complete (OK, barely started, I admit it...)
I very sadly have to consider moving some machines out of the collection...

First up - thatIt A206 Maytag washer

that I just barely got... It works, but may have agitation isssues as you may have seen or read here. Overall in fair to good shape. Going for what I paid for it - nothing! If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Next, the 58 GE Dryer...

Yes, I can't believe I am doing this either... However, the chances of me finding the matching washer to this are slim. It is in very good shape, but the cabinet has some paint loss/damage. I was hoping to get what I paid for it - $150, but I am open to reasonable offers.
If anyone is interested in either machine, please let me know - my email address should be visible in my profile.
Oh, and just a word about transportation - for some reason, Canadian shipping companies are really stubborn about not handling shipments of just one bulky item. I may be able to arrange something through a freight broker in VT, however.

i'm going thru the same thing

the last 12 months have been my fertile period where i have aquired 6 rollermatics, a 1-18, a beautiful maytag, 4 vintage frigidaire dryers, and a host of dishwashers including frigidaire, g.e. mobile maid, and ofcourse many kitchenaids.

for me the "bug" to collect seems to have left me now, my interests are turning to non appliance areas. whether or not i get back into it is hard to say. i'm not checking craigs list and e bay everyday like i was nor tuning into this site as much. i'm ready for a break!

some of my dishwashers, including kitchenaids have got to go. and a couple of non frigidaire washers too! my rollermatics are my true prize and i have no plans on downsizing them! but my plans are to condense and that is hard to do!

OMG - that dryer is to die for! I've always thought 1958 was GE's best year for styling. There are mates within the ranks, one of those members needs this one.
