Yesterday's POD was the 1963 Westinghouse  "money in the apron".  Now this.  Is it Westinghouse week? That is a good thing!

The laundromat in my hometown replaced two rows of the previous generation Laundromat (exposed water fill flume) with these. The old ones didn't stop when the door was opened. I think these did, right? Can you imagine machines in a laundromat without a safety interlock in this day and age?
