"Hi Robert,

The machine (and I) are located in Staten Island NY. And anyone interested has my help (and truck if necessary ) to move the machine. Its a really cool machine, and id like to see it get saved. Cant immagine there are that many of them floating around. if it helps to date it, it says "laundromat" in white on the glass door window. The door is released by pressing a button on top of the door, and there are 2 dials on the right of the door. Anybody interested can call me or email me.

Left a message. :-)

See.... I gave my mother my Frid-GE-More F/L-er.... and it looks like a BETTER one may be coming to me.

What you give in life... you get right back tenfold.

THANKS boys for the heads-up!

FLUSH,LIFT,TURN,TUMBLE----------FLUSH,LIFT,TURN,TUMBLE--------FLUSH,LIFT,TURN,TUMBLE----------FLUSH,LIFT,TURN,TUMBLE--------up to 56 times a minute while the frothy suds splash up on the glass see through window looking like waves breaking on a virgin ,uninhibited island beach. It's intence. It's severe. It's frightening at times the way the suds are splashed unexpectedly all the way up the window then as they slide down, another wave comes up and blasts the window with suds sometimes just a few clusters, sometimes a full window of them!(Those of you begining to feel nausious or seasick, may leave now and go get a barf bag before returning.)It can also seam to become hypnotic.Either way,I wish whoever takes hold of this gem to thoroughly enjoy it.

Are you not sure that it's Westinghouse????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

It's hard getting in touch with *the crew*~ different poeple are caling me each time.

I made a bid, let's see what happens. Since parts are NLA, I don't want to over-pay for a large paper-weight.

Good luck Steve...you'll definitely have your work cut out for you!

Hopefully the streaking and water on the floor near the machine is condensation from a damp basement and NOT from trying to run the poor machine and having it leak all over the place.

the pic of the Westinghouse....!

.... could have been right out of the set of something like "Blair Witch!!!" Rather scary basement and quite possibly the room where a murrderr (said with a scottish accent) was committed!
Hope not!

Is that thing as large as it appears? I saw that water running down the front too, guess a few seals are shot.. or is that the overflow rinse... :-)
Any news?
