Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Thanks Program computer, i like the old westy's, we had LH3 and DH3. Mom used "Salvo" at the time she broke the tablets in half, and Snowy bleach, for whites alr2903

A neighbor had the L110. Greg briefly had a WD3 for the 2005 wash-in. Jetcone I believe has a matchin set of the L110 . D110. I kinda remember comments that the auto dry button still overbaked the laundry and there wasn't a cooldown period. mr. Jetcone, what say you?

Thanks for posting these.

When I was growing up, we had a neighbor who probably had the first automatic washer( and the first telephone in our rural area)in our area. When my mom and I would visit this neighbor (or to use her phone), I would just sit and watch the clothes being washed through the picture window; just like watching a TV. I seem to remember it had a chime that would go off, am I correct?

No problem. It's been a long time since I've been on here , and I finally took some good shots of the brochure on my digital camera. I'm glad you allliked them. And yea...I wish there were more control shots of the rest of the line too.

I noticed that there weren't many ads for the 1958 Westinghouse washers unless I'm missing something. I've checked NUMEROUS periodicals from late 1957 thru 1958 and mostly they were trumpeting the Spacemates. In 1959 tho they did quite a few of the Program Computer models, of which I took my screename.....
