This girl needs to calm the F down! Almost 30 G’s for that little ice box and she didn’t even have any photos of the inside.
Sure it looks nice on the outside. But for that price it should include a lifetime supply of groceries from Whole Paycheck too!

That Westinghouse is a 1946 model. Likely identical to a 1947, though.
I like the lever-like handle on these immediate post-war models better than the subsequent series, which had poorly designed handles that failed both with the acrylic handle trim that would break off and later the handle itself would get pulled out of its metal "socket," which would break or tear -- it was designed to fail.
You can be sure . . . that they won't get anywhere near what they're asking. Same goes for that Coldspot. Those people must be hoping Christopher Nolan needs that exact fridge for his next big-budget pompously preposterous production.

While there is more demand for vintage kitchen appliances like refrigerators and ranges there is also a few companies that repair and restore them. In this area you can hardly find someone to work on any appliance and none of these will work on anything older than say 10 years. I watch a lot of cool old refrigerators and ranges start at a high price and slowly come down to scrap price and I have a good feeling that’s where they end up.
I used to get all of the machines I brought home free until several years ago. I think the tv shows created the inflated value of these items. Now everyone seems to think even the VMW machines are worth a $100 in non working condition. I told someone the other day that had an old belt drive kenmore for sale in non working condition that I am the only one in the area that will work on one of these and that it won’t be for sale upon completion. Luckily that was enough to get what I considered a fair deal and it is the truth.

In case anyone here wasn't 100% sure, greater L.A. is clearly the epicenter of global hipsterism.
The sellers for the GE Combination likely saw one showcased somewhere locally -- perhaps being used as a distressed prop by a trendy restaurant or retailer -- and now think they're sitting on a gold mine.
It's the worst of the three by far, yet I'd wager it's the most likely to actually sell.

Wow! If you can believe the seller of the last one they admitted to paying $3,000.00 for it in this condition. Good thing it comes with a can of R12 for $1,415.00.
