does anyone here have a westinghouse stove .....commander model #BD-74...that they are parting out....I need the peice that goes in the center of the stove on the very top....its the cover to the light starter....we lost it on the way home...I didn't know it came off...or I would have taken it off :( please help i'll beg to LOL

That part drove me crazy when we restored my darlin's 1953 Rainbow. I think you will find that there are several Westinghouse models of that era with that cover plate.

Until you get one, there are high gloss plastic/foil/paper boards in art supply stores which have a very similar hatched pattern - it echos the long chromed pattern below the fluorescent tube.

Speaking of which, should you have trouble with any of the burners or controls, we found a solution, just write us.

One of the best stoves ever built, by the way. Oven bakes wonderfully well.

Nice, nice range. I especially like that it's complete with the deep well cooker pot; those can be a PITA to replace if they're missing.
