Westinghouse Studio One on OTA TV

The CBS OTA channel "Decades" is airing the vintage "Studio One" 90 minute playhouse presentations, including the live spots for Westinghouse appliances.

 

I just saw a demo of the '57 Westinghouse Deluxe range with "plug out" burner elements and thermostatically controlled grill/griddle accessory during a re-broadcast of "The Landlady's Daughter."

Have been watching Decades channel as well and enjoyed the Westinghouse series. Loved seeing young Betty Furness in all her girdled glory selling Westinghouse Appliances!

...You can be sure if it is Westinghouse.......

And the way she places the drinking glass over the little screen cup that holds the detergent to prevent it from dissolving during the warm up spray before the wash, but that's on you tube. It's so funny how long it took Westinghouse to come up with an automatic detergent dispenser because it was so simple when they introduced it.
