Trying to identify the little red 3-wheel scooter ridden by the coach in "Revenge of the nerds", discovered the vehicle was made by Westinghouse around 1962 :) Way overbuilt, 36v runs the 4.5 HP motor. I might build a loose replica of this commercial utility trike once I finish my other projects. Westinghouse made other types of low speed electric vehicles including golf carts.

Well here’s the scooter, coach (played by John Goodman) and the scene you’re taking about:

Good research you did on it…

Westinghouse did have a vehicle that was like a Volkswagen bus that was electric back in about 1967. It was at the Westinghouse Museum but I don't know if that place exists anymore.

Westinghouse did have a public bus replacement called Skybus that never happened but they did become the people movers used at several airports. Eventually that division was sold to Adtrans. Pittsburgh International Airport had a pair of these rubber tired trains between the airside and landside terminals for 33 years. Just last November, they were shut down when the new air side terminal opened and the trains are now in hiding.

LOL thanks, it took quite a bit of looking, starting with Cushman, until i found Nordskog had about the same front suspension then discovered Nordskog bought the vehicle division from Westinghouse.
