Westinghouse Wash-In, just for me!

My "to-do" list has had this project on it for some time now so tonight I decided it was time to get it done and cross it off.

I changed the speed-changer oil in the L-3 Laundromat, made a few adjustments and then took it out for a spin. It runs a lot quieter now and is even wearing the latest fashion in Maytag rubber footwear!

Tomorrow is supposed to be hot and sunny so I did a bunch of washing tonight and will have it up on the line by 9 A.M. The Westy got her two test-loads as well as other machines around the basement.

I used this Tide HE (cap filled to Line 1) with a Weigh to Save measured "Regular" load.

And we have suds - lots of them...

Fortunately, this model has a nice flush-rinse spray after the wash that knocked down all the suds before the first spin. The first rinse was pretty good and the second rinse was almost clear with a smidgen of Downy.

The Duomatic got some attention tonight as well with the white clothes.

And the Frigidaire WCI-58 waits patiently for the hot water heater to catch up to the night's demands. It should be hot again in 3 days ;-)

I knew it wouldn't take you long to get that basement in ship shape again. Beautiful, simply beautiful.

And, I can't wait to see that Maytag in person.

Nothing perks me up like clean laundry. And, the smell of fresh wash on the line. Aahhh.... so fresh and clean. What a great way to end the week and start the weekend, and what a sense of accomplishment.

generation of HE's Ilke that tide ( the only tide product i've ever liked!) and I love the Wisk!

It gets out stains well.

That's a nice start for a weekend! Brings good memories back of the 2005 convention indeed. How many combo's are there now in your basement? Besides these too also the GE and the Maytag? It's wonderful running several washers at the same time, laundry is done in no time.

Jon, I know your basement is flooded now and then, but isn't there some kind of concrete paint that can take that?

Glad you have the chance to use them all to yourself, because that aint going to last long!!!!can just here that Maytag sloshing away, AND, at least we may now be able to get near the Westy for ourselves after Jetcone hogged that machine in 2005 like he`d never seen one!!!....LOl
