I think you're about right, I'll get my Westy book out tomorrow night and look it up...
This design had the pump mounted to the top of the drive motor, not a good arrangement if a seal goes bad - it could take the motor with it. Other than a few quirks like that, it was a fun washer to watch. This one probably has a big, black ramp agitator.
If it's a slow spin, it might need a new belt or belt adjustment. Something caught in the between the basket and outer tub, a bad speed switch or timer or some of these had a strange pulley and solenoid arrangement to slow down the spin during pump-out that could be not working properly or a bad winding in the motor.
