Thanks for the Wheel-O commercial. The Schwinn StingRay bike. Wasn't that about 1964 or 65'? I still remember those to this day. Our neighbors kid had one complete with banana seat! But you can bet that now adays that product couldn't be sold due to child safety issues. It looked like fun!
 
so sad-remember those Wham-O toys and the commericals a kid.Great Sat AM TV watching!Remember having and using the Frisbee,Slip-slide,and their slingshots.Sadly older people shouldn't use slip and slides anymore-their increased weight gives them too much momentum on the slide.and the older bones can get broken when you jump downward onto the slide.But the Frisbees still can be used by older folks and of course the slingshots.Some squirrel hunters use them.They do less damage than bullets and since they are silent-doesn't frighten other squirrels.And of course the Yo-yos.also remember those cool "Banana seat" bikes from the 60'sI wasn't a bike rider but freinds of mine at the time had Banana bikes.the "Wheelie Bar" was something I did see on the Sat AM commercials.After the introduction of that device-you would see many bike wheel "Scratch-off" marks on sidewalks.
