I watch the show every morning while eating breakfast as it is on in repeats(TBS). And I have noticed the appliances in the kitchen and they did change. The refrigerator at first was a Sears Kenmore and then in the later shows it changed to a Philco/Ford. The dryer was also a Kenmore while the washer was a Frigidaire, and of course the dishwasher that was short lived was a GE. But the stove is a puzzle.

Stove identification

The stove was a Kenmore! A late 50's, early 60's model. Neighbor had one just like it with a griddle in the middle and those square grates. What was unusual was they oven window shape and the neighbors had a "cp" sstamped on it. That stands for something special I believe. Also I think it had an electric side oven if I'm not mistaken. I have seen more than one of these, includeing the bol model on "All in the Family", with a Frigidaire refrigarator like we had when I was a kid.

Shame the actor who played Bubba never really did anything after that-he was indeed a good-looking young man. Alan something I believe.

Did we ever get a good, close look at Mama's washer and dryer? I just remember seeing them in the background, in the little laundry room off the kitchen.

In the original "Family" sketches on The Carol Burnett Show, Mama had an avocado stove and fridge, but I couldn't identify the brands.

Eunice's house

The family sketches on the Carol Burnette Show took place in Ed & Eunices house, not Mama's. The only time I remember seeing Mama's house in the family sketch was when Eunice has a flash back about the first time she and Ed dated and they were necking in the living room when mama busts in on them...

What washing machine was in the "2nd Generation" episodes? In those, the Kenmore 700 (?) dryer gets replaced with another lower-line model Kenmore. The washer that replaces the Frigidaire looks like GE, but it is hard to tell. I sure hated to see that Mobile Maid go in subsequent shows...
