Ok what are these for? I found them in the dryer at the house i am babby sitting for a while??? Nevermind where they held in front of... LoL.. Could have take an better pic, but any way

They're dryer softening balls. You throw them in the dryer and they "beat" the clothes, softening them, like tennis balls or shoes. I hear they work well for large items like comforters and pillows.

a gimmick sold over here

pop em in with the dyer load and they are meant to save you from using softener by breaking the fibres of the fabric when they bash about inside the dryer

they also reckon using these cuts down on dryer energy consumption but that seems toss to me.

I have a set of those

they live in my dryer.
They work pretty well at eliminating static and such, and are ok for softening.
I stoppeed using dryer sheets and use these instead.

I had a set like those....

Didn't do anything for me.... well, for my clothes that is... gave them to the cat; went back to sheets!

Blue Balls!

We have those too! They work okay. I tried them for awhile and then went back to dryer sheets. A ball would sometimes find its way into the leg of my sweats or into the sleeves of longsleeved shirts. I once found one in the pocket of a lab coat. Forget about sheets! They get wound up in the fitted sheets or go into pillow slips.

Nice pic exploder! :)

Toggs, I find that if the dryer is on less dry or on a lower temp it takes forever for the clothes to dry. I like to dry the hell out of my clothes LOL but I really keep up on cleaning the lint trap too especially since dryer sheets leave a residue.

I've used tennis balls for a long time, whenever I need to dry a down-filled item. They beat and fluff the down filling back up; if you try drying down without them, it will not fluff back up properly, and will often lump in one section of the item.

Works great for down-filled jackets and down comforters. I have a can of tennis balls just for that purpose.
