Neighbors having a party and want everyone to "come in costume". I'm just going to leather up and watch the reactions!

So far,
the only Halloween party I am attending is the one at church this coming Sunday, so it has to be no racier than PG-13, so I am getting out
an old plaid flannel shirt,
snug, but not painted-on jeans,
and black hiking boots, and going as a Castro Clone/Bear.
The Senior Minister, who is also gay, will understand it, but almost everyone else will think I'm being slightly odd, which is ok with me.

The approach to the house will be decked out in a graveyard motif and I'll be repeating the Pukin' Pumpkin Jack O' Lantern.
The kiddies knock on the door and from within the house come the strains of Christmas music. The door opens to reveal a living room decorated for Christmas. I step around from behind the door in my sweatshirt that says "Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!" and Cathy and I greet the Trick or Treaters with "Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!"
We did this a couple years ago. Reactions were priceless, especially among the parents. Time to bring it back.

I'm debating this year or not to dress up and go out with the neighbors. First off I don't have a costume, I don't fit in my old custom made leather 501's circa 1976 since they shrank and same with my old leather bike jacket. I was told leather never shrunk but it does slowly over the years LOL

Thank goodness someone else has experienced the shrinkage! My chaps are a real no-go for the same reason. (In fact I'm thinking vest instead of jacket!)

Halloween is MY kinda holiday........
not like those other stupid holidays......I mean theres no dumb bunny, no pine needles to stick in your feet, no idiot hearts, NO relatives........it's just CANDY....simple as that!
but for trick or treaters....I give out ICE CUBES.......hey, nothing like home made treats, after all takes me a week tomake all those cubes, and when their bag breaks open, I have loads of CANDY on my lawn!!!......lol....that will teach them to ring my doorbell!
but for me...leather vest, dazey dukes, and black work boots, with white sock trim, maybe a harness or some chains for effect!...or even chaps and a leather jock, not like I don't already have this stuff....then answer the door for the UPS guy!....lol
