Asko seems to have it's ups and downs, from the Antonio Merloni era (when they slapped the Asko brand on a generic AM Washer Dryer, and perversely put the Servis brand on a Swedish Asko machine) to Gorenje (which incorporated the tail end of the ISE [Independent Service Engineer] appliance brand saga in the UK) to Hisense today. Getting one new for around £400 is an absolute steal regardless of where it is made.
