My Miele T8005 dryer finally arrived today and I've been saving laundry for 2 weeks! I gotta say, I really like the look of the dryer being shallower than the washer, really makes the set look impressive!

Here's the Miele set and the Bosch set, the Miele dryer is vented (that was a B*TCH!!!) the Bosch however, is self explanatory:

This will have to change, 4 machines, 3 cords, one outlet... Not to mention the fact that the outlet is hard to reach and it's a 220 volt outlet, not the easiest thing to pop in and out! One cord goes to the Bosch set, the other 2 go to each Miele.

Re: Stacking the Dryer:

Hi! Jamie "Pulsator" how did you resolve your thought problem about Stacking your new Miele Dryer on top of your Miele Washer? Did you have to Anchor it down, or does it seem to be holding its own all right, without any kind of Anchoring?

They look great and to me, the Dryer doesn't look that much smaller than the Washer. Enjoy your new Family member and definitely keep us Posted as to how they are doing.

I have the same set and love it

It is the best washer and dryer I have ever used in terms of total fabric care and energy efficiency. You know you can get a converter box to plug both units into one 220V outlet.

Actually, for my set, I can't get that converter box, the dryer is of the new series to be paired with a 110 volt washer, the dryer runs on 30 amps. Line 1 draws 20 amps, line 2 draws 9.5 amps, so I can't plug both the washer and dryer into the same circuit sadly... But, no worries! my dad is gonna help me run 2 new lines there so I can plug all the 3 plugs into outlets and never worry about unplugging one to run another! YAY!

Here's the pic showing the honey comb drum, the honey combs are the opposite of the washer, on the washer, the shapes stick upward so that the lines creates little pathways to lead the water to the exit holes. On the dryer, the shapes stick downward and the lines upward, this makes little pockets of air that keep the clothes from rubbing on the drum much.

120 volt washer

Howhot does the washer get if it is only 120v? Does it have a sanatize cycle. I should know this, and of course I could look it up. Did you intentionally buy the 120V? There are several of he 220's still in inventory.

I've had the washer for ohhhhh... 6 months I think? I bought it back when they were still in production, it's a 220 volt machine. The dryer I just bought. I wanted to get the T1415 dryer which is of the older series to match my W1215 washer and is only 15 amps 220 volts, but they were longer in production or available, nobody stocked them. So I got the T8005 which match the new 110 volt washers. The T8005 is a 220 volt machine.

I was wondering when La "Funguy " would rear his head.....anyways very nice set you have! I noticed that with my Miele dryer that if you just dry a couple of items with that drum design ...clothes dont ride around the drum like in other dryers. One thing I do wonder about your dryer is that is it loud? Mine is I wouldnt say loud but you can hear the fan running. Its a very butch roar sound. I think that with the dryer you have the Turbo setting...which I find speeds up the drying process. I just use the Normal/Turbo settings and push start. One thing though is if you want to see how sensitive the sensors are...start a dry load in the dryer...it will shut off in 20 seconds..at least mine does.
Good job on saving up for the machines....I know its a bitch when you want something baaaad.
