Peter saw these on close out at at the Nebraska Furniture Mart and bought one for Sara and Mike. It worked so well we went back on the way out of town and bought another for us. It heats with calrods and is easily adjustable as well even. The grid reverse so contact grilling can be done with meat. The plates come off in two pieces and have ingenious drain holes that allow excess oils to weep down to a slide out reservoir. Grease spatters are kept to a minimum and it all goes in the dishwasher.

Didn't know NFM had these kinds of deals!
Usually Nebraska furniture mart is a tad bit overpriced on certain things.
Although I did get a deal on a DC17 in the winter. They were discontinuing that model (the asthma allergy one)
Its a nice store. Its HEUGE, and never ending! Nice washer and dryer collection.
Im about 8-10 minutes away from it.

I've found some great deals at NFM through the years - they really are the lowest priced in the entire region on most things.

I try hard not to meddle or apply my standard on the kids. The night before we left Sara said she was sure I would notice the nasty dishwasher in their new house and do something about it. We looked on Craigslist and found the dishwasher for $40.00. We met the tile installer at the house being remodeled at 7:30 and then installed it in Kansas before we had birthday cake. Out the door the next morning. Sara said it does a fabulous job and no one can hear it run.
