Help Support :

I have the main fridge in the kitchen is a Kenmore 18,
18 cu ft top freezer from 1993.
second fridge in cellar is a 2007 Kenmore 22 cu ft bottom freezer, with roll out freezer basket and 2 roll out fridge shelves.
this one is nice and wide it can accomodate 3 electric roaster pans when preparing for a party.
Also have a Sears Coldspot Spacemaster 22 from approx 1978-80
22.1 cu ft chest freezer with 8 rolling baskets and flash defrost

Liebherr bottom no frost freezer

even the fridge has its own fan. Bought two years ago. To have the place for it I had to take out the cabinet that held inside the old miele fridge.

2007 Kenmore Elite (LG) Bottom Mount 24.9 cu. ft. fridge (frezer is pull out drawer) in black!! Since late April 2007, all my appliances match (black) for the first time living in this house 21 years up to that point.

I have a early 1990s GE 5.0 (or slightly above but not 6.0 cu. ft.) chest freezer in the laundry room. It replaced a similar size Amanna chest freezer bought spring, 1978. the compressor died on the Amana and the thermostat died on the 1980 Kenmore fridge.

"You can be sure -

if it's WESTINGHOUSE." Mine is a 1949 model A-86. I also have a couple of small Haier fridges and a Haier chest freezer in my basement. All have been great products!

Thanks

Thanks for the responses guys, some really nice looking units there, I agree, Nathan those are great handles on your F&P and at least you won't have to wait very long if you should ever require servicing on it seeing as thouhg F&P are near home.
Favorit, I have seen a Liebherr in Clive Peters store a few weeks ago, really nice units but horrendously expensive here, almost $8000.AU.
I believe with our next fridge we will most likely go back to a traditional top mount freezer and we kind of know which we may get, it's a 564 litre L.G. with 383 litre fridge and 181 litre freezer and comes with a big water jug built into the door for cold water and twist ice cube trays in the freezer.
To be honest I have been a bit disappointed with the SBS, like one of the other posters we sometimes have difficulty getting wide things in the fridge part and the same with the freezer, however at the time it really took my facny and I always wanted to have one with ice and water, has been handy, but really one could live without it.
Also in the back of one's mind is the fact that Kleenmaid are gone and the words of Peter the repairman haunt me from time to time,"expect more problems and parts are very very expensive.
Cheers people and thanks again for the responses I enjoyed seeing your fridge-freezers.

K is for Kenmore

A 2006 Kenmore top freezer fridge. It's the one with the rounded doors to give it a hint of a retro look.

A Kenmore home is a happy home.
